ENYA FEHLER
I combine hands on project experience with organisational thinking and a research informed perspective on leadership and change. What interests me most is how people, projects and organisational structures can work together more effectively.
PROFESSIONAL FOCUS
Much of my professional work has involved coordinating projects across different disciplines and stakeholders, particularly where responsibilities overlap or operational demands make effective decision making more difficult.
My experience includes project structures and reviews, roles and interfaces, decision and escalation pathways, risk awareness, priority setting and coordination across project teams.
A recurring theme throughout my work has therefore been how organisations can create clearer roles and processes, improve knowledge transfer and use digital tools in ways that genuinely support everyday work.
I am particularly interested in structures that provide orientation and accountability without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
My professional and academic work increasingly explores how people make decisions, communicate responsibility and remain effective when organisational or project pressures increase.
I value structured reflection, different perspectives and the willingness to challenge assumptions. In complex situations, clarity often begins with understanding the problem properly before trying to solve it.
PRACTICE FOUNDATION
My background includes project coordination and leadership, planning and delivery processes, cost and procurement matters, organisational development, international business, professional training and digital learning.
I have worked in Germany and Southern Africa across built environment, landscape, residential, commercial, hospitality, tourism and specialist project contexts.
This practical foundation continues to shape the way I think about organisations and projects. Good ideas still need to work within the realities of time, cost, responsibility and implementation.
MY APPROACH
My experience includes complex project environments, entrepreneurship, organisational coordination, international business development, professional training and digital learning. A common thread throughout has been the need to bring people, information and responsibilities together in a way that enables progress.
I am currently completing an MSc in Leadership and Strategic Management. My postgraduate work adds a research informed perspective to my professional experience, particularly in leadership, organisational capability, communication and changing ways of working.
My approach is practical, analytical and direct. I value clear thinking, constructive discussion and solutions that remain grounded in reality.
Technology is part of that change, but so are leadership, communication, knowledge sharing, decision making and organisational learning.
This section brings together selected research informed reflections and observations from professional practice.
Working across Europe and Southern Africa has brought together experience in the built environment, entrepreneurship, international business, tourism, professional education and digital learning.
Different professional and cultural contexts have taught me to look beyond the immediate task, recognise different perspectives and adapt approaches to the situation rather than rely on standard solutions.
That international perspective remains an important part of how I approach people, projects and organisations.
